Gorillaz are the first virtual band ever created. They’re the result of Damon Albarn (Blur’s frontman) and artist Jamie Hewlett imagination. The band presents four animated members: 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle e Russel Hobbs. The first album was released in 2001 by the same name. Gorillaz incorporate multiple genres in their songs such as Electronic, Hip-Hop, Alternative Rock and also Art Pop. The band’s life is told through phases where albums are edited and adventures are told. Gorillaz actually played behind huge curtains on which were projected visuals and images created by Hewlett.
