Diplo is the stage name of Thomas Pentz, an American DJ and multi-tasker from Tupelo, Mississippi. He is one of the members and founders of Major Lazer alongside Jillionaire and Walshy Fire and he’s also half of electronic duo Jack Ü, with Skrillex. Diplo, born in 1978, has become one of the most important record producers, executives and songwriters by also working with inumerous Pop artists like M.I.A., Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Die Antwoord, Snoop Dogg and so on.
