Coachella 2019 lineup announced
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival lineup for 2019 has been announced. The 20th edition of one of the most iconic music festivals features Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande as the headliners.
Coachella Festival will take place, as usual, on two consecutive weekends next April: 12-14 and 19-21. Joining the bill are Janelle Mónae, Solange, Aphex Twin, The 1975, Kid Cudi, DJ Snake, Diplo, Weezer, J Balvin, Bassnectar, Khalid, Zedd, Gesaffelstein, Chvrches, Bad Bunny, Rüfüs Dü Sol, Blackpink, YG, and Dillon Francis.
Also performing at the Emporio Polo Club in Indio, California are Blood Orange, Four Tet, Lizzo, Pusha-T, Jon Hopkins, Shame, Superorganism, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Sophie, Sofi Tukker, Nicole Moudaber, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Ty Segall & White Fence, Yves Tumor, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Wiz Khalifa, Christine and the Queens, Mac DeMarco, Bazzi, H.E.R., Kaytranada, Nina Kraviz, and many others.
Reports say that Kanye West was due to perform as the last day headliner however he dropped out since he found the stage not big enough for his performance. He was then replaced by Ariana Grande.
Tickets for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival go on sale Friday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. PST via Coachella’s website.
