Byron Bay's Bluesfest drops third wave of artists
Byron Bay Bluesfest has revealed the third wave of artists playing at the festival for the 30th anniversary. Rock legend Iggy Pop and Soul icon Norah Jones are amongst the new 14 names joining the bill.
Earlier the festival organizers has already announced Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Paul Kelly
, Hozier, David Gray, Julia Stone, Mavis Staple, Flogging Molly, Ray LaMontagne, Snarky Puppy, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Kurt Vile, Kasey Chambers, St Paul & The Broken Bones, Nahko And Medicine For The People and many others. Now, apart of Iggy Pop
and Norah Jones
, also Imelda May, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Archie Roach, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Pierce Brothers and Fantastic Negrito were revealed.
The festival boss, Peter Noble
, has said: “With our third artist announcement for Easter 2019, featuring 14 great artists, it brings us to almost 60 artists announced to date – with plenty more to come,” so there's a lot more still to come.Byron Bay Bluesfest
