As promised by Lang himself, the ecletic bill features Rock, Pop, modern Hip-Hop and much more. Joining the list is The Black Keys, Miley Cyrus, The Lumineers, The Raconteurs, Chance The Rapper, Sturgill Simpson, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Cage The Elephant, Brandi Carlile, Janelle Monáe, Young The Giant, Courtney Barnett, Greta Van Fleet, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Nathaniel Rateliff, Run The Jewels
and others. Robert Plant is also playing on the first day and the likes of Santana, John Sebastian, Melanie, Canned Heat and others are back to play at the festival 50 years later.
Lang had previously stated that “Woodstock ’99 was just a musical experience with no social significance. It was just a big party. With this one, we’re going back to our roots and our original intent.”
The Woodstock Festival
goes down on August 15, 16, and 17. Tickets to Woodstock 2019 go on sale beginning April 22nd.
