Rage Against The Machine confirm reunion and Coachella headlining
Rage Against The Machine have confirmed that they will be reuniting next year with a bunch of concerts and festivals. Coachella is the first festival confirmation.
The band, composed by Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commferford, last played together in 2011 at L.A.'s Rising Festival. Next year, RATM will be playing a headlining set at Coachella Festival in April and also three shows across the Mexican border: El Paso (Texas), Las Cruses (New Mexico) and Phoenix (Arizona.). More dates will be announced in the upcoming weeks as the Renegades of Funk are planning to play more shows beyond these four initial dates.
2020 is the year of another U.S. presedential election and the possibility of Donald Trump winning a second term reportedly compelled the band to reunite again. RATM are known to be a political and interventive band. As Rage Against The Machine are reuniting, Prophets Of Rage will be ending or pausing as three of the six members ar part of RATM.
