Glastonbury confirms Diana Ross for the legends slot in 2020
Diana Ross has been confirmed for Glastonbury 2020, which marks the 50th edition of the iconic UK festival. Ross is playing on Sunday where she'll take on the Legends slot.
This will be the Glasto debut for the American singer, actress and producer who rose to fame as the lead singer of The Supremes. Altough she has been linked with the festival in the past this will be her first appearance. Ross stated: "To all my fans across the world, this is my tribute to you. Every concert feels like a private party, I can see your eyes and feel your hearts. I’m coming to Glastonbury, with love."
Glastonbury boss Emily Eavis also said: "I am delighted to say that one of the all-time greats, the wonderful Diana Ross, is coming to Glastonbury to play the Sunday legend slot on the Pyramid next year."
Diana Ross is the second artist confirmed to Glastonbury 2020 after Wolf Alice. The four-piece alternative rock band played at the annual Pilton Party last month with Michael Eavis confirming that the band will be joining the lineup in 2020.
However not all is good news as Glastonbury tickets flew last Sunday in just 34 minutes making it a new record.
