Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals 2020 have been cancelled
Goldenvoice, the organization behind Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, has announced the cancellation of both events for 2020. The two festivals have been reschedulled to April 2021.
Both festivals were first announced to take place in April 2020 and then postponed to October due to the Coronavirus spread fears. Now, Goldenvoice has decided to cancel both 2020 editions. The cancellation was order by Riverside County public health officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser “based on concerns of a fall resurgence of COVID-19 both within the County of Riverside and worldwide, scientific evidence regarding the most effective approach to slow transmission of communicable diseases generally and COVID-19 specifically, and best practices as currently known and available to protect the public from the risk of spread of or exposure to COVID-19.”
Coachella Festival will now return in April 2021. The two weekend festival is taking place on 9th - 11th April 2021 andon 16th - 18th April 2021. As for Stagecoach Festival, the Country music event will be happening on April, 23-25, 2021.
